Abstract Design 2 - Colorful Tornado

1. Create a new document with 400 * 400 px dimensions. Fill it with a black to white gradient.
2. Go to filter->distort->wave and select square type , no of generators 5 , wavelength 10 to 20 , amplitude 5 to 35 and repeat edge pixels.
3. Press ctrl J to duplicate the layers and then open the transform tool and select rotate 90 CW. Change the layer mode to overlay. Go to filter->distort->twirl and set angle to 136. Merge all the layers and create a new layer. Use brush tool to fill the layer with various colors and change the blend mode to overlay.

Abstract Design 1 - Abstract background

1. Create a new document with 500 * 500 px dimensions.
2. Click on the gradient tool and open the gradient editor and apply a radial gradient of red and green color.
3. Go to filter->render->lighting effects and change the light style to five lights down , light type to spotlight , intesity 100 ,focus 60 , gloss 0, material 0, exposure 0 , ambience 10 . Again go to filter->stylize->edges and press ctrl I to inverse the colors.
4. Duplicate the layers by pressing ctrl J. Then press ctrl T to open the transform tool and select flip vertical and change the layer mode to lighten. Merge both the layers and again duplicate the layers and again press ctrl T and select rotate 90 CW and change the layer mode to linear dodge. Again duplicate the layer and go to filter->filter gallery->sketch->chrome and select detail 0 and smoothness 4. change the layer mode to linear dodge.
5. Open hue/saturation adjustment layer and select hue 180 , saturation 100 and lightness 0.
6. Create a new layer and fill the layer with a gradient - cyan to light pink and change the layer mode to color. Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to overlay . Merge all the layers and duplicate the merged layer and press ctrl T and rotate the canvas by 45 degrees and change the layer mode to lighten.

Poster Design 2 - Spiderman Poster

1. Create a new file with 1280 * 1024 px dimension and another file with 6 * 6 px dimension. Use pencil tool with 1px brush size and make a square pattern (chessboard style- black and dark gray).
2. Go to edit ->define pattern. Now in the  main file go to edit->fill and select the pattern made above.
3. Use line tool to make a slant line on the canvas for the spider web. Open blending options :
    a. Drop shadow (blend mode- multiply , opacity-100, angle-76, distance-3 , spread-10 , size-24)
    b. Bevel and Emboss (style-inner bevel , technique-smooth, depth-450, direction-up, size-1,soften-0,
    angle-120,altitude-30,check global light, highlight mode-screen,color-white ,shadow mode-multiply ,
    color-black,  opacity-75)
4. Create a copy of the layer and using free transform tool incline the line a little and place it below the above
created line.
5. Use pen tool with fill-0 and convert point tool create a spider web. Open the blending options :
    a. Drop shadow ( blend mode- multiply ,opacity-100, angle-120, distance-5, spread-0 , size-90 )
    b. Inner shadow ( blend mode- multiply , opacity-100 ,angle-120, distance-5,size-70)
    c. Bevel and Emboss ( style-inner bevel, technique-smooth , depth-684, direction-up , size-1,soften-
    0,angle- -169, altitude-37, highlight mode- screen opacity -100 , shadow mode- multiply , opacity-0)
    d. Stroke ( size-2 , position -inside , blend mode-normal , opacity 100 , fill type-color , color - same as
    background color )
6. Create a new layer and using hard brush tool of color #404041 draw some water droplets on the web
and select following blending options:
    a. Inner shadow ( mode-multiply , opacity-100 , angle-120 ,distance-5, choke-0 , size-70 )
    b. Bevel and Emboss ( style-inner bevel , technique-smooth , depth-684 , direction-up , size-1 , angle-
    -169 , altitude-37 )
7. Move all the layers comprising of spider web and water drops into a group and then press ctrl E to
convert the group layer into a new layer. Use eraser tool to erase some of the edges of the web .
8. Use text tool to write out the text in homoarakhn font and apply following blending options :
    a . Inner shadow (mode-screen , opacity-75 , angle-90 ,distance-3 , choke-18,size-0 )
    b. Gradient overlay (mode-normal , opacity-100 , style-linear , angle- -90 , gradient   - #58595B to
    D1D3D4)
9. Create a new layer below the text layer and make a selection of the text by holding ctrl and click on the
thumbnail of the text layer. Go to select->modify->expand. Expand it by 5px and fill the selection with
white . Undo the selection and apply following blending styles:
    a. Outer Glow ( mode- multiply , opacity-100 , size-35 , range-50)
    b. Bevel and Emboss ( style-inner bevel , technique-smooth -depth -390 , direction-up , size-6)

Scene Design 4 - Lost in memory disaster

1. Create a new document with 1400 * 800 as px dimensions and fill the background with black.
2. Load a rust texture on the canvas and apply motion blur on the texture : angle-63 , distance 23.
3. Add following adjustment layers to the texture layer and apply clipping mask on all the adjustments :
    a. black and white ( red 40,yellow 153, green 28,cyan 60,blue 20,magenta 80)
    b/ curves
    c. levels - input ( 0, 1.26,255)
4. Create a new layer and paint some clouds on the canvas using the cloud brush and name the layer as
    clouds.
5. Load a mountain image on the canvas and position and resize it on the left side of the canvas . Add a layer
    mask on the layer to hide the edges and make a smooth transition on the canvas . Also add following
    adjustment layers to the mountain left layer and apply clipping masks on the adjustments:
    a. black and white ( red 40,yellow -80, green 59,cyan 28,blue -1,magenta 80)
    b. levels - input ( 76, 1.79,255)
    c. curves
6. Copy and paste a river image on the canvas near the side of the mountain and name this layer as river .
    Erase the edges using a soft brush. Add following adjustment layers to the river layer and apply clipping
    mask on all the adjustments:
    a. black and white ( red 40,yellow 60, green 40,cyan 60,blue -4,magenta 80)
    b. curves
7. Load another mountain image on the canvas and position and resize it on the right of the canvas. Add a
    layer mask on the layer to hide the edges and make a smooth transition on the canvas. Also add the
    following adjustment layers to the layer and apply clipping mask on the adjustments.
    a. black and white ( red 40,yellow -200, green 2,cyan -25,blue 20,magenta 80)
8. Load a palace image on the canvas and position it on the top of right mountain . Use a soft round brush to
    erase the edges of the palace and add following adjustment layers and add clipping mask to all the
    adjustments :
    a. black and white ( red 80,yellow 153, green 40,cyan 60,blue 20,magenta 80)
    b.curves
9. Create a new layer and apply cloud warp effect on it and place the cloud warp on the mountain right
    layer. Change the blending mode to screen.  Also create another cloud layer .
10.Load an image of bridge on place it between the two mountains and rename the layer as bridge. Place
     this layer below the mountain right layer . Erase the edges of the bridge using a soft eraser. Add following
     adjustment layers to the bridge layer and apply clipping mask to the adjustments:
    a. black and white ( red 40,yellow 117, green 40,cyan 60,blue 20,magenta 80)
    b. curves
11.To create a meteor . select the brush tool and make a single click on the canvas . Go to filter->pixelate-
     >crystallize . Make the cell size around 8.  Go to filter->stylize->wind . Method is wind and direction is
     from left. Press ctrl F to lengthen the tail of the meteor . Use transform tool to tilt the meteor so that it
     looks like its falling from the sky . Make copies of the layer and move them to various locations on the
     canvas . Group all the layers.
12.Add following adjustment layers on top of all the layers to fine tune the effects :
     Color Balance :
      a. tone-shadows , cyan-100 , magenta-0, yellow- -100
         check preserve luminosity
      b. tone- midtones , cyan-100 , magenta-0, yellow- -100
      c. tone- highlights , cyan-57 , magenta-0, yellow- -17
     Vibrance :
      a. vibrance - -11
      b. saturation - -20
     Levels : 0 , 0.66 , 255

Scene Design 3 - Midnight Summer

1. Create a new document with 1024 * 768 px dimensions . Draw 2 rectangles using the rectangle tool covering 2/3 and 1/3 space of the document with the upper rectangle filled with black and lower rectangle filled with white.
2. Open the blending styles and select gradient overlay for the upper black rectangle :
    a.  blend mode-normal , opacity -100 , style -linear , angle-90 , color - 4c725d to 182c2d
   Open the gradient overlay blending style for lower rectangle :
    a.  blend mode-normal , opacity -100 , style -linear , angle-90 , color - 070b14 to 233634
3. Create a new layer and go to filter->render->clouds and then go to filter->blur->box blur and set radius to 12px . Open the curves adjustment style and change input to 174 and output to 155 and change the layer style to screen . Open the transform tool and stretch out the clouds horizontally and narrow in vertically so that they are visible only in the upper rectangle.
4. Make a copy of this layer and open the levels window and enter following parameters ( 94, 0.60 , 240 )
5. Create a new layer and using polygonal lasso tool create a hilly area on the land surface and fill it with black. Create a new layer and using a preset brush paint some grass on top of the hilly area. Place images of various trees and people on the hilly area and select color overlay style blending option and change the color to black.
6. Create a new layer and using star brush tool , paint some stars in the sky .
7. Create a new layer and using the ellipse tool and draw a circle in the sky . Again draw another circle while pressing alt key inside the first circle to create a crescent shape and fill it with #f9f2ac. Open inner shadow blending style :
    a. Inner shadow ( blend mode-normal , opacity -75, angle-120 , distance-11 , size-9 )
8. Select all the layers and place them in a group and duplicate the group and merge all the layers in the group. Using the transform tool , flip the duplicate layer vertically and delete some the bottom part of the duplicate layer with eraser tool.
9. Using ripple filter distort the layers in duplicate layer to create a ripple like effect in water . Reduce the fill for the group to around 25%.

Yin-Yang Symbol Design

1. Create a new document with  720 * 720 as px dimensions. Press ctrl 0 to fit it into screen.
2. Select the gradient tool and open the gradient editor and click on the lower left stop and select ff0000 color and click on lower right stop and select 870303 color.
3. Press shift key and drag the gradient from bottom of the screen to middle of the document.
4. Press ctrl T and drag out the guidelines to the center for the vertical guide and little above the center for the horizontal guide.
5.Open up elliptical marquee tool and drag out a circle from the center of the cross. Create a new layer and fill the circle with black.
6.Click on the layer mask to make a layer mask of the selection and then select the original black circle layer to make it active and open rectangular marquee tool and drag out a rectangle on the left side of the circle and fill  the selection with white and delete the selection . Ctrl click on the layer mask to make a selection and go to select->transform selection and press and hold shift and drag the lower right end of the selection towards the upper left crosshairs.
7.Click inside the transform and press and hold shift as you drag the transform to the right until it snaps to the center.
8.Create a new layer and fill the selection with white . Again open the transform tool and press and hold shift and alt and drag the selection inwarda to make a smaller circular selection and fill it with back and delete the selection. Make a copy of the layer and invert it (ctrl I) and drag it below the top layer . press and hold shift and drag it down until it snaps in to place. Resize it if  needed.
9.Hide the guidelines and hide the base layer and make a snapshot of the screen using ctrl-shift-alt-I. Hide all the layer and unhide the base layer. Make a copy of the snapshot layer and select transform tool and drag the copy layer down . Go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and blur it by 5px and lower the opacity to 30.
10.Make a layer  mask next to the reflection layer . Select the gradient tool and open the gradient editor and select black to white thumbnail and drag out a gradient from bottom of the reflection to the bottom of the symbol .
11.Make the symbol snapshot layer active and click on inner glow style : color-black , blend mode-normal , opacity-75, size-250.
12.Ctrl click on the symbol to make its selection and make a layer mask of the selection . Click on the selection of the symbol select transform selection and move the selection a little to upper left. Go to select->modify->feather and feather it by 20px and invert the selection and fill the selection with white.
13.Open a brush tool and select a large brush with 30 opacity and click in the center of the symbol .
14.Create a new layer above the symbol layer and merge the two layer . Go to the layer mask of the layer below and press and hold alt and drag the copy of the layer mask to the symbol layer. Make the symbol active and change the foreground color to red and open the brush tool and brush the bottom of the symbol with red (blend mode-overlay and opacity-30 .

Poster Design 1 - Galactic Poster Design

1. Create a new document with 1500 * 2000 as px dimensions and fill the background with dark gray color.
2. Paste an image of smoke clouds flowing diagonally across the canvas. Change the blending mode to screen and change the opacity to around 15%.
3. Create a new layer and using the brush tool to paint pink , torquoise and purple color on the canvas and change the blending mode to overlay. Change the color swathches to default black and white color . Create a new layer and go to filter->render->clouds and change the blending mode to overlay and reduce the    opacity to around 65%.
4. Create a new layer and fill it with black and go to filter->noise->add noise and select amount around 100 , gaussian and monochromatic. Go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and blur it by 0.3px . Open the levels window and change black inpur to 208 and white to 232 and change the blend mode to screen . Create a layer mask and using a large soft brush click on some of the areas of the canvas to make them brigher then the others.
5. Install the star brushes and open the brush presets and make following brush settings :
    a. Brush tip shape ( diameter-14 px , angle-0 , roundness-100 , spacing -1000 )
    b. Shape dynamics ( size jitter-100 , control -pen pressure , minimum diameter-0 )
    c. Scattering ( scatter- 1000 , control -pen pressure , count -1 , count jitter -100 )
    d. Smoothing
    Paint a variety of stars to fill out the space scene and adjust the brush size to give a wide range of star size . Open the outer glow blending style and change the color to light blue and add layer mask to adjust the intensity of the stars.
6. Create a new text layer and type out a text in the center of the canvas. Create a layer mask to the text layer and then go to filter->render->clouds and erase out random areas of the text. Duplicate the layer and add a gaussian blur of around 6px and change the blend mode to overlay. Add another cloud rendring to layer mask and erase random areas of text using a soft brush.
7. Create a new layer and using brush tool paint random white spots on the canvas . Create another layer and paint some yellow spots around the text . Create a layer mask to the yellow spots and go to filter->render->clouds and change the blend mode to color dodge . Create another layer and paint a spot of pink at the center of the text and change the blend mode to dissolve and add a radial blur of around 60% . Create a new empty layer and merge it with the pink spot layer to reset the blending mode to normal and again change the blend mode to color dodge and reduce opacity to 60.
8. Create a new layer and draw a spot of white using the brush tool and using the layer mask erase half of the circle . Open the transform tool and stretch the semi circle to change into a ray of light and rotate it by 45 degree. Make multiple copies of the layer and place them in different positions on the canvas and change the blend mode to overlay.
   

Equilizer Design

1. Create a new document with 51 * 15 as px dimensions. Press ctrl 0 to fill the image on the screen and fill it with black.
2. Make a copy of it and then press ctrl T to open transform tool and drag out the guides to the center.
3. Open rounded reactangle tool and select white color . Click on the gear icon and select 47 px as width and 11 px as height, choose fixed size and from center.
4. Click on the crosshairs and select 47 * 11 px and 100 radius. Hide the guidelines. Go to edit and define patterns.
5. Create a new document with 1280* 720 px dimension . Fit the entire image on the screen . Click on adjustment layer button and select pattern . Open the channels panel and click on the circular icon on the screen , it creates the selection of the all total values of image. Save the selection.
6. Trash the patten and create a new layer . Click on the layer mask icon . Fill the background layer with black . Click on the empty layer . Open the gradient tool and select spectrum gradient and drag out the gradient and left to right. Open rectangular marquee tool and click add to selection icon.
7.Make random selections of varying lengths on each coloumn. Make the layer mask active and fill the selection with black. Make the copy of the layer and then activate the original layer. Go to filter-> blur->motion blur . Make angle-90 degree and distance 425px.
8.Make the top layer active and make a composite snapshot of the screen by holding ctrl-shift-alt-E. Open the channels tab and ctrl - click on the equilizer channel to make its selection . Again open the layers panel and press ctrl J to cut and copy the colors from the image. We can trash all the source layers.

Scene Design 2 - Magical Book Scene

1. Create a new document of size 1200×600 pixels. Paste a picture of an antique table on the document. Download and paste a gray texture image as a wall behind the table . Use eraser tool to reveal the table.
2. Paste an image of an open book on the table ( you can download the image and use layer mask extraction method to extract the book from its original background. Create a new layer below the bool and rename the layer as book shadow. Use a soft round brush with black color and paint shadow along the bottom of the book.
3. Create a new layer above the rest of the layers. Open gradient overlay blending style and make a vertical gradient with colors (top-19025 , bottom-000000) and change the blend mode to soft light.
4. Create a new layer and fill it with black. Use eraser tool with a large soft round brush and click twice at the center of the document to revel the book . Open the levels window and set the following value ( 9 , 0.60 , 255).
5. Paste an image of a green field on the left side of the bool and rename it as grass. Use layer mask to even out the grass on the book page. Open drop shadow blending options and set following values ( angle-35 , distance -3 , size -1 ) . Repeat same process on the right side of the book while leaving a small gap in the middle of the book for a river.
6. Paste a pool pattern in the gap between the grass in the middle of the book and set the opacity around 80. Use eraser tool to remove and leave only the part to cover the top area of the gap . Repeat the process to cover the front area of the gap to make a flowing river. Activate the top perspective of the river layer and go to image-> adjustment ->brightness/contrast and set the brightness around 40. Keep the black layer on top of all the layers .
7. Create a new layer and name is as Glow. Using a soft round brush tool paint a large dot at the center of the document as change the blend mode as soft light. Place an image of clouds on the canvas and change the blend mode to screen and reduce the opacity to 80. Using a large eraser tool , remove some parts of clouds.
8. Create a new layer and rename it as lens flare. Fill the layer with black color and go to filter->render->lens flare and select 50-300mm zoom and set brightness as 100% . Rotate the lens flare layer slightly at 45 degrees and position it at the center of document. Set the blend mode to screen and duplicate the layer to make it more bright.
9. Place an image of tree and place it on the left end of the book. Duplicate the tree to make its shadow. Go to image->adjustment->hue/saturation and set the lightness to around -100 to make the duplicated tree black . Go to edit->transform->flip vertical . Again select the transform tool and select skew option and push the bottom of the tree to left. Go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and blur it by 2px. Repeat the process and place some more trees and rocks on the book.
10. Place a waterfall image on the book below the river and rename it as waterfall . Go to channels panel and press ctrl-click on the blue channel to load selection. Go to layers panel and invert the selection and press delete. Create  a layer mask to hide some unwanted parts of the waterfall. Duplicate the layer and set blend mode to screen .
11. Place an image of a child playing on the right side of the book page.

   in between the grass.

Scene Design 1 - Underwater bubbles

1. Create a new document with 2560*1440 as px dimensions and fill the background layer with black.
2. Create a new layer and fill it with green. With green layer selected go to layer->group layer .Select the newly created folder and go to layer->layer mask->hide all. Select the brush tool and with a big soft brush paint with white over the areas you want to be shown.
3. Select the green layer and go to layer->layer mask->reveal all. Select the layer mask and go to filter->render->clouds. Then go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and select 80px as radius.
4. Create a new layer on top and paint a red spot light on the center-bottom of the document with brush tool and change the opacity of the layer to 65%. Create a new layer and using a big brush tool, paint some area of the red with blue and change the opacity to 25%.
5. Create a new layer and select angular gradient and open the gradient editor. Change the type to noise and roughness to 100%  and select restrict colors and add transparency. Fill the layer with the gradient and go to image->adjustments->desaturate. Then go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and select 30px as radius.Change the blend mode to color dodge.
6. Create a new layer and select a bubble brush tool and paint some bubbles on the canvas using white color. Group this layer and change the blend mode to color dodge.
7. Create another layer of bubbles and go to filter->convert for smart filters .Then go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and radius is 7px.
8. Create a text layer and write some text on the canvas and open the blending options. Change fill to 0 .
   a. Inner glow( color-color dodge,opacity-50%,size-15px )
   b. Bevel and Emboss( style-inner bevel, depth-90%, direction-down, size-1px, soften-5px, angle-7, altitude-16 , highlight and shadow mode-color dodge with white and opacity-100)
9. Create anothe layer inside the bubbles group and paint some smaller bubbles over some of the text like words disintegrating into bubbles. Go to text layer and select layer->layer mask->reveal all. With the brush tool paint over the areas of the text the would be disintegrating into bubbles.
10.Create a new layer on top and go to filter->render->clouds and select black and white as background and foreground colors. Go to filter->render ->difference clouds. Then go to image->adjustments->invert and image->adjustments->levels. and increase the white inputs. Change the blend mode to color dodge and go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and use 20px radius and change opacity to 60.
11.Create a new layer and select paint bucket tool and change the type to pattern and select a stripes pattern.Fill the layer with pattern and go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and radius is 2px and change blend mode to overlay and opacity to 50.

Logo Design 9- 3D box logo

1. Create a new document with 500*500 px dimensions and change the dark gray as foreground color and black as foreground color.
2. Create a radial gradient near the center of the canvas. create a new layer and make a selection about 90px tall from the bottom  of the document and create a radial gradient closer to the left side and towards the top of the selection .
3. Create a new layer and using rectangular marquee tool create a box and fill it with blue. Go to edit->transform->perspective and bring top right and bottom right corners of the box towards the center of the side a little and press enter.
4. Select the linear gradient tool and create a gradient from bottom left to top right of the box (light blue to dark blue).
5. Duplicate the layer and flip it horizontally and apply perspective transformation on the left side of the box by dragging it in.
6. Open the blending options and apply the effects on both the layers:
   a. Satin (blend mode-multiply , opacity-10,angle-19, distance-10, size-14)
7. Create a new layer and make a selection of right box layer by holding ctrl key and clicking on the layer. Select linear gradient tool and change it to foreground to transparent with white as foreground color and create a gradient from bottom left to top right of the selection and lower the opacity to 20. Select polygonal lasso tool and select the bottom of the gradient and delete it. Repeat the precess on left box layer and reduce the opacity to 15.
8. Create a new text layer and write some text on right side of the box. To perform perspective on the text layer , rasterize the text layer. Press ctrl T->right click and select perspective and perform perspective on text layer.
9. Open the blending options:
   a. Gradient overlay (blend mode-normal, opacity-100, gradient(light gray to white), style-linear, angle-90, scale-100)
   b. Stroke (size-1,position-outside, blend mode-soft light, opacity-46, fill type-gradient (white to black), style-radial, angle-90)
10.Drag both the box layers and gloss layers in a group and duplicate the group . Then go to edit->transform->flip vertical.
11.To make the sides of the reflection touch the sides of the box press shift-click on the right box layer and right gloss layer inside the reflection group. Go to edit->transform->skew and drag the right side of the layers up until they touch. Do the same to left side of the box. Lower the opacity of the group to 50.
12.Create a new layer on top of the table layer(layer1) and make a selection of table layer by holding ctrl key and clicking on table layer . Select the brush tool and make a single brush stroke in the center of the box using a large brush and blue color matching the box.

Logo Design 8 - Aurora

                                           

                                                                                                          

1. Create a new document (a1 international paper, 210 * 297 px dimension and 300 resolution.

2. Create a rectangle using the rectangle tool. Press ctrl t to select the transform tool and select warp.

    In the warp preset options select flag and set it to 20% bend. 

3. Open the blending options and select gradient overlay. Click on the gradient editor and set 5 color stops 

    at 25% intervals and set angle at 0 degree. Press ctrl j to create a copy of the layer and hide the layer.

4. Create a new layer and select both the layers and press ctrl E to merge the layers. Go to filter->filter   

    gallery->texture->tecturizer and set texture to canvas, scaling to 96 , relief to 8 and light to left.

5. Go to filter->blur->motion blur and set distance to 112px.

6. Press ctrl key and click on the duplicated layer to make a selection and keep to blurry aurora layer 

    selected. Select the marquee tool and move the selection up past the blurry part of the base layer. Press 

    ctrl-shift-I to invert the selection and press delete key. This will make a hard edge at the base.

7. Press ctrl T to stretch the aurora layer vertically upwards. Again make a selection of the duplicated layer 

    while keeping the main aurora layer active. Drag the selection downwards to the bottom part of the 

    aurora. Right click inside the selection and select layer via copy. It will create a new layer. Select color 

    overlay blending option for this layer and change the color to black.

8. Go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and blur it by 8.9px. Drag this layer below the aurora layer and press ctrl 

    t and right click to select warp. Move the angles at the bottom corners so that they poke out of the sides  

    and reduce the opacity to 60%.

9. Open gradient overlay blending option for the main layer and set the blend mode to soft light and direction 

    to 90 degree. 

10.Select the text layer and write text on the canvas. Open gradient overlay blending option and set Left 

     hand colour stop:1d1d1b location 0%. Middle colour stop: 464646 location 50%. Middle colour stop 2: 

     706f6f location 50%. Right hand colour stop: b2b2b2 location 100% and angle 90 degrees.

11.Duplicate the layer and change the gradient overlay to same as that of base aurora layer. Go to filter-

     >liquify , rasterize the layer and using forward warp tool draw strokes on upper half of the text.

12.Drag the layer below the main text layer . Go to filter->blur->motion blur and set angle to 90 and 

     distance to 104. Duplicate the layer twice and change blend mode of top layer to overlay.

Logo Design 7 - Planet logo

1. Create a new document with 1000 * 1000 px dimensions.

2. Create a blue circle using elliptical marquee tool. Load the selection of the layer and move it to the left and 

    delete the selection.

3. Create a green oval in the center of the above circle using elliptical marquee tool. Again load the selection 

    and move it up a bit and delete the selection. Rotate the layer a little using transform tool.

4. Load the selection of the green layer and go to select->modify->expand and expand it by 5px. Select the 

    blue layer and delete the selection.

5. Create another magenta oval using elliptical marquee tool above the green oval.

6. Delete a portion of the oval by loading the selection and moving it up-right a bit. Load the selection of the 

    layer and go to select->modify-> expand and expand it by 5px . Select the blue layer and delete the 

    selection.Tilt the layer using transform tool.

7. Create an orange oval below the green layer and repeat the above process. 

   

Text Design 11 - Sand Art

1. Create a new document with as 1280 * 720 px dimensions.
2. Change the foreground color to f0e2af and press alt delete to apply it.
3. Go to filter->noise->add noise and change the amount to 3%.
4. Select the type tool and choose a little darker shade than background color and type the text.
5. Press ctrl and click on the text layer to make a selection . Go to select->modify->feather and feather it by
    1px. Duplicate the layer and rename it outer . Open layer styles and select:
    a. bevel and emboss ( style-pillow emboss ,technique-chisel hard,direction-down,size-50, soften-5,
        highlight mode-linear dodge and opacity-12, shadow mode-linear burn and opacity-39.
6. Create a copy of the layer and rename it inner. Hide original text layer and select bevel and emboss.
    Make style-inner bevel, technique-smooth, depth-235, direction-down, size-27, soften-7, angle-130,
    uncheck global light, altitude- 48, highlight mode-screen and opacity-0, shadow mode-linear burn and
    opacity-30.

     

Logo Design 6 - Android logo

1. Create a new document with 1920 * 1080 as px dimensions.
2. Go to  rounded rectangle tool  and select a green color a4c639  and radius 49px.
3. Drag out a rectangle on the screen . Select combine shapes option on the top . Drag out an arm on the left of the rectangle.
4. Select path selection tool and hold shift and alt to drag out a copy of the arm. Do the same for both the legs. Use move tool to reposition them.
5. Select rounded rectangle tool and select subtract from shape option and drag out a rectangle on the top till the beginning of the arms .
6. Again select ellipse tool and select combine shape option and drag out a circle on top of the body . Select rounded rectangle tool and subtract from shape to make a gap between the head and the body and drag out a small rectangle between the head and body.
7.Select ellipse tool and subtract from shape options and drag out a circle on the head to make an eye. Select path selection tool and hold down shift and alt key to drag a copy of the eye for the second eye.
8.For the antenna of the robot , select rounded rectangle tool and select combine shape options and drag out a rounded rectangle on the head. Select path selection tool and click on the antenna and open transform tool to tilt the antenna on the left. Again hold down shift and alt key and drag out a copy for another antenna on   right. Again open transform tool to tilt the antenna to the right .
9.Fill the background with blue color. Again click on the shape layer and open stroke blending style and select white color.

Wax Seal Design

1. Create a new document with as 1920 * 1080 px dimensions. Paste a old parchment style texture on the canvas.
2. Select elliptical marquee tool and drag out a circular selection in the middle of the document and fill it with a dark red color.
3. Press ctrl d to undo the selection and go to filter->distort->wave and select no. of generators-1, wavelength (1-214), amplitude-(1,117), scale-100, type-sine , repeat edge pixels and click on randomize to select an appropriate shape.
4. Drag out another circular selection inside the original shape created above and press ctrl J . Hide the wax seal shape and go to filter->distort->wave and change wavelength to 660 .
5. Make original wax seal layer active and hide the inner part and make a selection by holding down ctrl and clicking on the layer . Press ctrl-alt and click on the inner part layer to subtract the shape and press ctrl j to cut and copy the shape . Rename the original layer as shadow, middle layer as shape and top layer -center.    Make the shape layer active and open layer styles window :
   a. Bevel and Emboss ( style-inner bevel,technique-smooth,depth-100,direction-up, size-50,soften-0,angle-
      90,altitude-60,highlight mode-screen,opacity-85,shadow mode-multiply,opacity-30)
      contour-half round
Make shape layer active and open layer style:
   a. Drop shadow ( blend mode-linear burn,opacity-75, angle-90, distance-5, size-18
   b. Outer glow (blend mode-linear burn,opacity-17, size-25)
6. Make center layer active and open layer style:
   a. Bevel and Emboss (style-inner bevel,technique-smooth,depth-100,direction-down,size-16,highlight
       mode-screen,opacity-90,shadow mode-multiply,opacity-50)
       check contour
7. Create a new layer and fill it with red . Select type tool and choose white color and type some text on the
    document. Make a selection of the text and hide the text layer and the layer below it and go to select-
    >transform selection and resize and reposition it on the seal.
8. Make red layer visible and active and click on layer mask . Go to fill and slide it to 0. Open the layer style window:
   a. Bevel and Emboss( style-emboss, depth-200,size-16, shadow mode opacity-40)
   b. contour-half round.
9. Make a copy of this layer and click on the chain link to unlink it with the layer mask and delete the layer mask.
10.Open custom shape tool and select a shape from list of custom shapes available . Drag out the shape on the seal. Open paths panel and right click on the work paths and click on make selection and make feather radius 0.
11.Click on the layer mask and open bevel and emboss and reduce the size to 11.
12.Make a copy of the layer and click off the chain link and click on the layer mask to make it active and move the ornament to another location on the seal.

Logo Design 5 - Mirosoft logo

1. Open a new document with 500*500 px dimensions.

2. Create a new layer and select elliptical marquee tool to drag out a circle on the canvas and position it in center and fill it with dark blue color.

3. Use transform tool to make another circular selection inside the circle created above (very near to the above) .

4. Create a new layer and make a white to transparent gradient from top to 3/4th of the circle. Create another layer and make another white to transparent gradient from bottom to 3/4th of the circle. Merge the two layers.

5. Use rectangular marquee tool to make a rectangle within the circle and fill it with orange-yellow radial gradient from bottom right to center . Similarly make 3 other rectangles using marquee tool and fill

   them with radial gradients as follows :

   a. top 2 rectangles - orange-yellow , lime green-cream

   b. bottom 2 rectangles- blue-white , yellow-light yellow

6. Use warp transform tool to make the rectangles wawy like a flag and then tilt the rectangles a little to right.

Text Design 10 - Reflection

1. Create a new document with 500 * 500 px dimension and fill it with black.
2. Select type tool and type it on the canvas and reposition it on the document. Press ctrl J to make a copy of the text.
3. Select the transform tool and right click and select flip vertical. Press shift and drag the text down until there is a little space between the two texts.
4. Click on layer mask. Select the gradient tool and select black to white thumbnail and drag a  linear gradient from 3/4 of the bottom to the top  where the bottom text begins. Reduce the opacity of the layer mask to 50%.
5. Go to layer->rasterize type . Select the blur tool and press shift and drag the cursor on the canvas to blur the bottom text.

Photo Editing 1 - Rainbow effect

1. Create a new document with as 1000 *1000 px dimensions and copy and paste a photo with the same dimensions.
2. Create a new layer . Go to gradient ->special effects and select russels rainbow built in rainbow gradient.
3. Drag out a radial gradient from the bottom end of the canvas to where you want the rainbow to end.
4. Change the blend mode to screen. Go to filter->blur->gaussian blur and select 50px radius and change the opacity of the layer to 50%.
5. Click on the layer mask and select black to white linear gradient and drag out the gradient from bottom of the arc where the rainbow is to end to the top of the canvas.
